I am an entry level HR analyst with one year of professional experience and she has tasked me with leading a strategic agency-wide project. This entails procuring a consultant, directing work of our senior analysts, leading a cross functional team to implement the project, point person, managing project timeline and deliverables, updating our policies and procedures to integrate the project, etc. To me, this is senior level work and should be done by the more senior analysts who have experience in this area. Senior Manager is now micromanaging everything I do, giving tasks I used to do to a junior employee, and it feels both of them are not happy when I’m in the room or in conversations. I lead a development team here at the firm. We have a client that's been scope creeping more and more each week, to a point that it's really impacting the teams ability to work. I have tried to push back, but my manager says I need to do whatever the client asks. Have any of you dealt with this? We are seeing a sudden increase in documentation, demo, and side work. (Even creating newsletters and editing emails for the client)
