But they drink a lot and basically have this view of me as a lightweight who has no vices and I always get picked on with family / family friends. They don’t believe me when I say I drink a lot with friends. What do I do?

Has anyone negotiated pay at a hospital or company that states they have different levels/tiers of fixed pay for so-and-so profession and can’t budge? I’ve worked in other fields prior to healthcare and have a hard time believing every (pick profession like PT) gets paid exactly (pick random number like $72,345). I’m skeptical because it sounds like “we have levels/tiers of fixed pay and can’t budge” is just an excuse to shut down negotiation right away. Can anyone share their experience?

Had the most bizarre recruiting experience. I turned down a role with a smaller consulting firm (have to focus on my health for a while so the timing isn't right for me). I explained this to the recruiter and he seemed to understand & even offered to pick up the convo once I was ready (in a few weeks).

A few mins go by and he tells me another recruiter wants a quick 5 mins with me. Weird, I think, since I've turned them down. But sure, call me at 9 am tomorrow.

Hi, I was curious if anyone had any jobs or companies that had a position with a mix of consulting/healthcare/pharmaceutical. I currently work in clinical operations and research, and would love to jump or learn into a tech side company with pharmaceutical exposure. Not sure if these are out there but figured I’d see!

Hi all, recently got out of work due to my own dumb mistake, I thought of career transitioning and I quit my amazing remote HR Coordinator job to pursue that. I’m trying to think if I still need to stay in HR (3yrs exp) or try something new. Are there any recs on career counseling? Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to keep my work together and help our team since I’m the most senior person left, but it’s exhausting. How many more things need to be missed before someone actually helps our team?
