Cross offer win rate between mbb in the us?
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

She just had major surgery. I would think this is normal? Could also be the pain killers she is on.

It’s not uncommon to not have too much appetite while on pain killers. I slept a lot after my surgeries. Everything gets discombobulated. As A2 mentioned - check the doctor’s orders as they should have given you post op instructions and what to expect. Make sure she stays hydrated.

Post-mastectomy fatigue sounds very normal. I had the surgery in 2016 so some of my recollection about fatigue vs. other things is fuzzy, but overall I found that following my doctors’ orders on drain management and starting the gentle mobility exercises to be the most important in the second week. Also, I took colace alongside opioid pain reliever because I had wicked constipation when my chemo port was placed and wanted to avoid a repeat. I also got up and moved daily starting around day 4 or 5. At day 3 I was still very much in my recliner and recovering and still taking pain medicine every few hours.
Is she concerned? Does she have a post-op visit scheduled with her plastic or breast surgeon? Perhaps a call or telemedicine visit into them or the nurse navigator will help her determine what’s to be expected for her specific health situation.

Thanks A2. She is scared to take her bandages off and doesn’t want to look at it. So she hasnt showered yet. Just a sponge bath

Hugs OP, and to your mom as well. It gets so much better than the first few days after surgery, I promise.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help you. I can’t receive DM’s because I got into a DM argument with someone and lost my privileges, but happy to help out here however I can.

Thank you A2. We are waiting for the final path report which will determine the need for chemo/radiation.
