I applied for a counsel position with a large local university almost two months ago. The application period closed about two weeks ago, and a friend of a friend works as a counsel in the same role. I understand the complexities of the times and hiring constraints, but I’m wondering if I need to follow up/reach out through my friend or just keep waiting. I don’t want to seem insensitive or pushy, but I really want this job. Any advice?
