Spend leas than you earn and invest the difference. Becoming rich is simple, but not necessarily easy.

This is true. Many “everyday millionaires” are people who saved more than they spent and invested in a 401K/other retirement offering. May take some years, but patience pays off. Save at least 15% of your income.

Do you have a wealth manager? Rule of thumb is that you should be able to double your money every 7 years. With increasing contributions, it can grow faster. DM me, I work with Naples Wealth Planning if you are interested

My income is $6 away from the next tax bracket(32%). Any ideas on how to lower my taxable income? Last year, my additional source of income(cd accts, robinhood) net out to be 8k. So i know this will take me over to the next tax bracket. Currently, I do put 6k in ira, 3500 in hsa, do roth contribution 14% towards my 401k. Also, pay ~30k/year tuition for my grad schooI(dont think this helps lowering my tax?) anything that I am missing to lower my taxable income? What else do you do?

I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously. My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job. Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.

What is your opinion on GARP financial Risk Manager (FRM) certificate? I am considering taking it (as I am FS Risk Consulting), but I am not sure if it really carries benefits. Apparently it is quite a tough study. Is it worth the time or should I invest my time elsewhere? Also do you have learning material you are willing to share :D?

Beginner and trying to get my finances in order. Income: $200k+. Maxed out 401k for the year. I have $60k in my savings account (just paid student debt off this year). I’ve searched the bowl… Are next steps: (a) invest (maybe $30k?) in ETFs and add to it each month, (b) open a HYS at HMBradley to hopefully get a high interest next quarter? I’m not convinced about the mega back door Roth (whether it makes sense for my situation) so putting in only a small amount there. Any thoughts? TIA!
