FTM here with no family role models on how to make work and motherhood work. I feel as if I need to give up on career goals or, at the very least, be content with moving at a slower pace.

I also just watched the new Pixar movie Soul and it’s making me see in a newer light that progression/advancement doesn’t always need to be the goal — but how does one balance this way of thinking with corporate quarterly goals and a forward thinking/moving mentality? Should/can I be ok with being content?

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? How often do people who have been in big4 for a long time and want to stay in public their whole career but don’t think will make big4 partner, leave for partner at a smaller firm? Is it false thinking that the smaller the firm, the more attainable partner would be especially if coming in with heavy big4 experience?
