You may be pleasantly surprised by people. I'm a proponent of visibility in the workplace. It may give strength to someone else that you don't realize may be struggling with coming out too. Plus, it's now a part of pop culture to be LGBT; and workplaces are leading the charge with diversity and inclusion initiatives. I leverage this aspect of myself in the workplace and upper management and partners frequently reach out to me to provide me with opportunities for higher visibility in the office strictly because of that aspect of myself.

My confession is I think the erosion of traditional gender roles will result in societal decline. A racism-free version of the US in the 50s would be ideal.
Companies need to not dilute diversity with this whole diversity of thought jibberish - there are real issues re: bias, race, gender and respect in the workplace. Education around how to build better

Just a shout-out to all the LGBTQ+ consultants who are not in heteronormative relationships. Every time I read threads here wherein folks assume that someone posting about a wife or girlfriend is a man, or someone with a husband is a woman, I feel invisible. This also happens to me at work - colleagues and clients incorrectly assume the gender of my spouse. Please remember that there are men married to men, women married to women, and same-gender couples with kids. We exist!

I hope most of us can agree on the below as fellow Americans: -Any group wanting to cause harm to people or a specific group of people have no place in our country. -Clearly our country is hurting and needs productive dialogue at the community, state, and national level from both sides. -One side is never right. MSNBC, Fox News, and CNN are also rarely right. -We’re in dire need of empathy and care for one another regardless of political views, race, geographic location, gender, etc.

I hate gerrymandering. Regardless of who does it, though research and statistical analysis points to republicans doing it more aggressively and to greater effect. What happens here?
