Would you take a job with this many red flags if you were desperate to get out of public? If so, what salary/comp would you need? 1. I’m interviewing for an Assistant Controller role at a medium-sized manufacturing company. 2. The interview process has consisted of 7 rounds (2 phone interviews and 5 separate Teams calls). 3. I’ve had to prepare multiple PowerPoint presentations. 4. The job positions of the VP of Finance and Controller (both of whom I interviewed) were just posted LinkedIn.
Is anybody (BB,EB) still hiring FT analysts out of undergrad for 2022. For context, I’m currently a 6 month intern at a reputable MM shop in a tech group with strong deal flow. I’m currently on two live deals and have done 3 pitches so decent experience. I also have 6 months experience working in equity research at a BB firm. The group i’m in is a sweatshop with regular 4 am nights and am looking for a way out before I get trapped.
So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Hi, wondering if reaching out to FAANG company recruiter on a mid-senior level counsel role via LinkedIn is useful. Or is it frowned upon given the large amount of applications they are likely to receive on a daily basis.
Hi all pls help me with my salary breakdown. Does FBP mean variable pay or does the whole salary comes under fixed?
I was having IT issues when my firm migrated to Microsoft teams. I was getting help and they took control to do their trouble shooting. After fixing the issue, he suddenly video called himself to test it all works. I was laying in bed naked when the cam turned on 💀
Received negative feedback from my manager for the first time, I’ve been working for a few months now and this is the first time it’s happened; over arching theme was quality of work and communications etc. feel really shitty about it and I’m not sure how to deal - any fellow female fishies have words of advice or anecdotal insights, did you manage to turn it around? I really want to do a good job and take this very seriously - def want to leave the project on good terms with the manager

Hi Ppl - I was feeling really disheartened and bad about something so thought will ask this group how you cope with it. I have worked at my job for 7 years and I have been passed for promotions for 3 years now. I can see there is a visible gender discrimination and things are not going the right direction anytime. I know I have to get out but I don’t want to leave without a good opportunity. My benefits are awesome where I am at so i am picky. My leaders tell me I am a super star but when it
