McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Don’t accept a promotion without first talking about a raise. In fact you should be negotiating that right now. Pandemic or not, you gotta make sure you’re properly compensated before taking on additional responsibilities.
Been there, done that.
Still waiting for my raise for over a year while having way more responsibility than I had before.

I think it's fine to have a conversation about what you can expect and when. It would broaden and enrich the discussion and be more appreciated by your supervisor to also discuss expectations at the new level. You can take the opportunity to express your gratitude for the support they gave you by advocating for your promotion. If it's just curiosity, I would wait.
For what it's worth, if you haven't already, take a look at the this bowl's PM Salary matrix. It's a little quirky in the google mobile app. Worka best in a browser. Also, please add your current data and i hope you get to make another entry as an SPM with a big bump.

1. I THOUGHT I filled this out but couldn’t find myself, so to anyone who thinks they’re in here but are not: check now and add yourself.
2. It’s promising more women are dominating the field. They’re better at getting stuff done and they’re scientifically better at multitasking.
3. Looking at this doc, it seems to be a rarity to get a promotion as an agency PM. Looks like going outside your company and kicking tires is the way to climb.
My advice to OP is set a timeline by which you’ll plan to start looking for other offers if the promises continue not to pan out.
Definitely ask about salary and/or bonus. Now is the time to have to conversation before HR finalizes it
