The tax treaty has no benefits . You need to report accounts in India with more than 10k USD balance. Rest is normal as any other filing
Not true. Tax treaty is beneficial in the sense that you’ll have to pay tax only once. If you have paid tax on Indian income in India, you can claim exemption in the US.
