My partner is Canadian but she is here in NYC for the next 4 months - would my partner be eligible for a leftover COVID vaccine though her residency status is out of state? Since NY is mostly vaccinated, we are wondering whether she might be able to snag any leftover vaccines thrown out at the end of the day. If anyone knows vaccine sites that give leftover shots to out of state people, would really appreciate info! Thanks :)

My wife and I are vaccinated. My sister and her husband are not bc they say there’s no long term results on the vax and they’re family planning. Mow they’re coming into town late summer. I don’t feel comfortable meeting up with them, not sure how to put it into words. Help.

I am taking another sick day this coming Monday. It's necessary for both my physical and mental health, which are severely compromised due to the stress of this insane school year (and the last one, and the spring before that -- I think this is cumulative with COVID, the political situation, etc.). There are millions of people dying of wars (like Afghan), famine (like Yemen) and also Covid. Why should I be okay with my company donating and speaking on my behave with so much focus on BLM? I agree it matters, but overall, we live a good life in the United States comparing to the rest of the word, regardless of race. The attention to race equality is important but I feel bad for the poor forgotten souls that are facing other issues on earth. They matter too?

Honestly don't understand why people are so opposed to going into the office. Is this because you think spending 20-60 min commuting each way costs you billables? Personally I need separation between work and home. It helps my mental health but the anger I see in some posts about having to go to the office is strange to me.
