My perm recruitment just started, how long is it taking from now to perm approval?

Hi, I changed my job like 3 months ago, it was supposed to be a lead front end engineer position, but after and awful onboarding I’m just a regular dev in a project that is not yet live but requires a lot of refactor. It was supposed to be a project to get familiar with the company but at this point I don’t know what to do. Give them some time, talk with them about my situation or just look for another job. US immigration related question: My wife’s prior employer filed in EB2 and she got a i140, but later the employer revoked it after she moved to a new company. The new company started the process all over again and she got her i140 approved, but we realized they filed it in EB3!! Her priority date is current in EB2. Has anyone been in this situation? She was really hoping to file for i485. Is there anyway this can be remediated?

I’m on Opt visa currently and have to file for my Stem extension before next month. I have got an offer from an employer and about to join them in one week. My EAD card got lost recently unfortunately, will I still be able to join the company? So many H1B petitions got rejected this year. I just got my rejected for ‘non-specialty occupation’ reasons. Shall I ask the firm to appeal the petition? Any other suggestions? Very frustrated

I have been waiting to join Deloitte with H1B transfer. Received RFE early march and waiting for BAL (law firm) to send response. It has been almost 2 months and getting really anxious.
Irrespective of the result of rfe, atleast the filing should be done. I have also not received any response on reminder emails sent last week. Is this very common ?,

He works for Pwc and had year end discussion in which he is told that they are planning to put him under Performance improvement program post 4th July. His i40 was approved last month, I have 2 questions.
1) If PWC terminates him, will they apply to USCIS for revoking his i40? Does the big 4s generally withdraw?
2) given his scenario, should he just move on to new employer or will he risk or loosing his i40 in this case?
