EAs (Executive Assistants) on Fishbowl

My position was eliminated on Monday 4 months after leaving my job in good standing. Do you suggest temporary work for a few months vs just finding that perm role? Thanks!

There are a lot of companies taking temps to perms, so temping might be a good avenue while still looking for your new position.

I would go perm. Can you go back to your old company?

What industry? Look for Perm, but if you can find temporary work that still gives you flexibility to interview go for it. I know some temp agencies that will call you to help out with corporate events/conference for a day or two and it’s a good way to keep extra money in your pockets but it might affect unemployment insurance.

Unless you feel restless and temp is more appealing, why not look for perm?

Permanent definitely. We have EA openings.

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
