Just look for a project like normal and inform your supervisor that you will be on leave in a couple months. Projects are normally phased and can accommodate staffing changes. People leave with 2 weeks notice all the time.
I joined a 12 week project and left during week 8 for a scheduled c-section and everything was fine.

We have a staffing person that reminds me every few days that I need to find a new billable project.
My manager also said that it helps me for future promotions/performance reviews to stay billable as much as possible during this awkward 2.5 month gap.
Should I disclose that I will be on leave when interviewing for a new role or should I only disclose that information after I get the opportunity? I'd like to be upfront but sometimes I feel that I'm automatically not considered due to the fact that I'll have to be on leave after 2.5 months of joining a project
I interviewed and then disclosed. If they’re not going to penalize you for going on leave soon, then that’s probably not a project you want to be on. Doctors appts become more frequent the last couple months so someone understanding will help.
