What would you do if an internal stakeholder who you work with almost daily on projects gets back to you almost every time at the last minute with things you need to keep a project moving? And this is after you chase the stakeholder every day and explain the urgency. Please note, my manager is aware of stakeholders crazy way of working and suggests I speak with them, but I have before and it hasn't helped and manager is also aware that the delays reflect poorly on me.

Can anyone recommend a good headhunter that has experience in placing agency strategists on the client side (not just agency only)?

I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?

Hi! First time working with a larger company - suggestions on handling pronouns at work?

I’ve worked with smaller agencies where it was easier to bring up. Now I’m on a larger team, talking to/referencing people I’ve never met. I’m less concerned about my own pronouns and more concerned about how to make sure I’m using the correct pronouns for the people I work with.

Tips on drafting a shareholder information statement for a merger? Preparing one for the first time with little supervision and I feel lost. Currently in a committed relationship and just came to the realization that I have actually never been single in my life. Sometimes I wonder what the single life is like.. just dating and doing whatever I want without having to think about a partner. Any one else ever felt like this? Or been in this situation?

SO just mentioned we haven’t been on a romantic date in a while and asked that we plan one. I feel kinda silly because it’s true. We live together, share many meals together, cook together, go out for drinks and such, etc. But there just haven’t been any intentional romantic dates recently.

Anyone willing to share romantic dates y’all have been on? Not trying to steal ideas but I feel like I need a little inspiration.

Is there a power play about who is supposed to disconnect first after mobile calls or video calls? I admit, I am just really slow to get to the disconnect button bc I'm multitasking (taking notes, on another screen, screen lock or whatever). But then I do get a little annoyed if the other person hasn't disconnected the call (which isn't fair of me). So, is there a power dynamic here or etiquette about who is supposed to hit the disconnect button?

I hate it when the guy in a hetero couple says "we're pregnant."
