My recruiter told me that for my case, I will need to do team match before moving to HC; So I just did a follow up interview after on-site, assuming no team wants to match me, even though I got strong feedback review, I am not moving to HC?

I was told that the role was on hold due to “beaucracy” but the hiring manager from the role has kept in touch. He then reached out to me yesterday asking if I’m still interested and want to move forward..no offer letter, just gauging my interest.

Just finished the final round interview. Got positive feedback from the interviewer and recruiter sent me an update email within an hour saying that the interviewer will have the last interview next Friday and they plan to have the final decision on the following Monday.

Any thoughts? Positive, negative or neutral sign?
A little surprised when the recruiter says they would have the final decision one day after the last one interview.

I had a question for you all. Do interviewers give their feedback and rating (or score) before your “package” being sent to HC? And if there is a bad or lower rating in one of your interview, does the “package” still get sent to HC knowing that it may not pass (60% possibility).

Left McKinsey as Senior engagement manager (meaning been in EM role for 2+ years) two years ago, then went into tech for 2 years with P&L responsibility, leading a team of 80+ people, across 7-8 teams. Would I be considered for Google L8? Or maybe a L7?
