Hello Fishes, I am new here and would like your inputs on the Grade, Designation & Basic salary in TCS. 1. Is the Grade - 'C3B' & Designation - 'ASC - Associate Consultant' correct for 11 years and 6 months of experience ? 2. And is the Basic salary offered in TCS very less than the Market standard? Thanks in Advance 🙏🏼

It’s usually capped per paycheck, up to the max you’re eligible for based on what you earned. Like, if matching starts 7/1, it’d be 4% per check regardless of what you put in, up to the max of 4% of your earnings 7/1-12/31. If you put in 10%, it’ll be matched at 4%. If you put in 6%, you’ll get the 4%. If you cap out, it’ll be matched at $0 that pay period, and what was contributed total for the year should be matched for what you earned when eligible.
Slalom offers a “true up” in March of following year. ✌️
I’d go talk to HR, but I would guess 4% of annual salary. Also check the definition of Compensation.
“(ii) 50% of the amount of your contributions that exceed 3% of your Compensation but that do not exceed 5% of your Compensation.”
Realistic answer is ask your hr.
Can't determine without seeing the rest of the contract (including how Compensation is defined).
In any event, at the most you likely wouldn't be eligible for the whole amount, but a prorated amount based on your salary for the year. (4% of your six months or whatever).
Thanks, thats what I’m thinking. Unfortunately no definition for “Compensation”. Will be reaching out to HR to confirm.
Follow up question: are employer contributions considered pre-tax or post-tax? Does it depend on whether your personal contributions are 401k vs. Roth 401k?
Employer contributions are always pre-tax
