If this isn't your first year, I'd recommend looking at the size of your tax return last year. If it was significant, I'd optimize the exemptions to get to a $0 tax return for each year.

Sounds about right you should be able to do a rough tax calc. If single your marginal federal bracket is probably 22 but don’t pay that on all your income.

I’ve had a serious medical issue with episodes of debilitating pain and I’m finally going to be getting treatment soon. Does anyone have any experience with schellman? I had never heard of them and a recruiter reached out. From what I’ve read on Glassdoor the pay and benefits are very good (10% 401k match, health/dental insurance covered by the company)

Do you use all of your sick time? Does your sick time roll over? I looked at my absence balances, and I’ve hardly used any sick time. (Honestly because it’s usually more work to take a sick day.)
