My secretary’s birthday is coming up, and of course Christmas. Any good gift recs? What is an appropriate amount to spend? In the past I’ve just done cash/Amazon gift card, or a spa gift card.

I've historically done cash/Amazon gift card because I think that's the most useful, and will throw in a small gift like whiskey glasses or espresso cups.

For Christmas I usually do cash/amazon or visa gift card and a small gift like a tree ornament or coffee mug and socks (she loves collecting mugs). For my secretary’s birthday I would get her a gift card to cover a really nice 90 minute massage plus tip at the place she loved and a smaller gift card for lunch.

Cash is king

I don’t think birthday gifts are typical

Hi Friends,

Last week I got offer from Infosys for the below skills and experience,

Skill - SAP BASIS Administrator
YOE - 5 years
Offered Package - 11.6 LPA and 1L joining bonus
Current CTC - 9.6 LPA

I feel like the offered package is too low. When the mentioned the same to the HR, he said this the maximum they can offer for the role.

Kindly suggest how much I can ask to the HR for the mentioned skills and experience.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi All,

I have a situation in front of me. I got an offer from small company or we could say startup company Uzio (pdt based) and my manager in current company didn't revert back with any retaining offer. It's been a month and 27 days left in np.
My dilemma is that my current team including reporting manager are very rude and not supportive. I don't want to work in this project. But if I join in that startup company, there's a risk as everyone is talking about recession, firing. Suggestions?
