Went to my Psychiatrist and explained that I’m really struggling and want to take STD from work to get things under control, esp. since work causes most of the anxiety. He said he can only approve 2 weeks, I was looking for longer - any advice?

ADHD medication with high Blood Pressure?

I found ADHD meds helpful when I worked in consulting in my 20s. I stopped the meds when I went back to school. Also have had High BP since late 20s. 15 years away, I am back in consulting and loving it, however my difficulties juggling so many projects/tasks is holding me back. I know I would benifit from some ADHD medication but my Dr won’t prescribe any with my history of BP (controlled with BP meds). Anyone else gone through this? Any tips?

How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. 6.5 YOE going to HC for an L4 Supply Chain role in the Bay. Based on my research and people I know I was going to target $250k TC. Does 140k salary, 21k bonus (15%), and $350k in equity feel right? My salary while I wait for my EU passport is €66k which equates to $74k USD, however I can see that the role I have has a higher AVG. starting salary, stateside. I’ve hesitated posting because I don’t now what I’m asking of you all. But here goes. I froze my eggs a few years back and got 5. I’m now married and yesterday I froze another 2. Low numbers I know. I’m in my 40s. This week we make embryos- with 7. And I guess I’m just anxious. What if nothing. What if abnormal. What if something but they don’t transfer. Do I risk n carry myself (terrified of pregnancy btw). My mind is racing. Anyone been through this with such low numbers- anyone in your 40s?🙏🏽

Was overjoyed when I got my positive. Should be about 6 weeks today but first scan went not as i expected. Gestational sac was empty. No yolk sac no fetal pole. Hcg and progesterone are high and good. Not sure how to feel :( praying next scan shows something. Worried this could be blighted ovum. 😭 Anyone else experience something similar?

Did my first egg retrieval today. In so much pain. Feeling discouraged because they counted 30 eggs during monitoring but only retrieved 13. Really sad and disappointed. I've already had 6 failed IUI's.

Has anyone had experience with follicle size discrepancy? I’m trying to freeze my eggs; on day 8/9 ultrasound they counted 4 follicles larger than 11mm, two of which are already mature, 16.7mm and 18.9mm. They also said I have another 5+ in each ovary that are smaller than 11mm. The phone call with the doctor was pretty grim (he basically said we might need to cancel the cycle as 4 follicles is too few for elective freezing). Can the smaller ones maybe catch up? Anyone with a similar experience?

Quick question, I’m starting timed intercourse with medication. I received my ovidrel injextion 4 months ago. It’s been in the fridge. I’m anticipating a potential trigger today or tomorrow (measured today with one 17mm and one 18mm) waiting to hear back on my hormone levels.
