The Ordinary has AMAZING products that are reputable and they cost like $6 each. I use their glycolic acid, niacinamide, & hyaluronic acid, and my skin is literally in the best shape it’s ever been in. I also use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant about 3x a week in the mornings. Here’s my routine: MORNINGS: - Cleanser - Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (put on a cotton pad and apply to face) - The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum - The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid - Moisturizer + SPF (I use Laroche Posay SPF 30) NIGHTS: - La Roche Posay Micellar Water (as my makeup remover after a day of wearing makeup! Makeup wipes are a no-no. Apply it to a cotton pad then wipe your makeup off) - Cleanser (double cleanse at night with an oil cleanser and gentle foaming or gel cleanser) - The Ordinary’s Glycolic 7% Toning Solution - The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid - Moisturizer + SPF (I use Laroche Posay SPF 30) *you can also double cleanse in the morning but I don’t sometimes*

Microblading and concealer

I love the Korean skincare routine. Highly recommend. I’ll post a link to an overview as a reply to this. With regards to the “no makeup” makeup look, I’m a big fan of things you can do to minimize your work/makeup every day. For me, that’s lash extensions (basically eliminate the need for eye makeup), Brazilian blowout (makes your hair super shiny / minimizes drying time and frizz), and maintaining a blowout over multiple days (keeps you looking polished; I do this with a curling iron). I also think microblading could help if you have sparse eyebrows.

I was recommended Priia makeup for acne prone skin. It takes a little to get used to applying it since it doesn't glide like normal make up but I think it helps

I use bare minerals tinted moisturizer with sunscreen and love it

Retinol cream. They have some decent ones that are over the counter. Start with a small %, 1-2 times a week and then work yourself up. You NEED to include this into your skincare routine at night.

If you have sensitive skin, DEF start small. I don’t have sensitive skin and had an experience similar to SC1

I did a consult with an independent skincare professional. Totally worth it and no sales pitch. She listened to my budget and how much time I was willing to spend, as well as my skincare goals. She sent over a detailed plan (and justification) with non-affiliate links at several price points. I mix and match, but am loving AmorePacific and Sunday Riley.

I would recommend taking the time/making the investment in seeing an esthetician. They can help you select services that will bring your skin to the level you are after, and recommend superior products. I fairly regularly will get a hydroderm facial, oxygen facial, peel or microneedling done and it has made such a difference in my skin and my confidence. I’m about to turn 41 and look at least a decade younger. As for a routine, I use the following from PCA Skincare in both the morning and evening (minus the spf at night) Creamy cleanser Hydrating toner Hyaluronic acid booting serum Rejuvenating serum Sunscreen (tinted or non depending) Collegen moisturizer

like

Oh, as for makeup, I don’t really use anything other than mascara and some lipgloss. Sometimes the tinted SPF, but otherwise nothing on my face. I do have microbladed brows which makes this super easy, too!

Lots of people throwing down skincare routines so I’ll just pop in to say just invest in a nice concealer (I like Nars) and use it strategically under your eyes, on the side of the nose and occasionally on the side out the mouth. It brings light and smoothness to the face in the areas that catch the light, while leaving some imperfections elsewhere to have the look of not having anything on your skin. Would also highly recommend watching some of Violette_fr’s makeup videos on YouTube, especially her old ones. She does killer looks that are super wearable, and she drops so much knowledge. I learned the above technique from her videos

Tinted moisturizer

Lots of water, collagen supplements, and a humidifier! I have dry/sensitive skin that also breaks out because there is no justice in this world. Skincare: simple is best. Cleanse, moisturize, eye cream, retinol/retinoids Makeup: bare minerals powder, a good mascara, Nars concealer, and a multi-use stick for eyes/lips/cheeks You got this girl!

My firm recently announced that they were beginning a reservation system for hoteling starting February of 2022 for offices . We were told to clear out our offices by December 31,2022 . The lease is not up for renewal until June 2024 at which point they will look to reduce their office space due to a hybrid work model . My issue is what incentive do I have to make a reservation to go to an office when I can simply continue work from home hassle free. Any Thoughts and comments?

I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?

As companies scale, they lose identity. I think that is happening to Deloitte too. There is distribution in terms of capability and now the middle of distribution is way too big. Just look at the list of questions posted here. Most are the same and shows no one is paying attention. It is same attitude on my project, 20% people doing 80% of work, others are just making noise and complaining all the time.
