Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

It’s much easier than it used to be, and much easier for parents to help out and monitor thanks to good tech. My MIL is a type 1 from childhood, very adventurous and in great health - there is nothing on earth she won’t do.
There are lots of support groups to help people learn how to manage their own or a family member’s diabetes — have you considered checking them out to feel some stability and get up to speed on what it’s like today?
Very valid to be nervous about this. However… there could be no better preparation for this than the lifetime of experience your partner has. You’re probably incredibly well-versed in what goes into diabetes management as a result of your relationship as well. Autoimmune diseases are frustrating and there are always moments of “why me” for those affected (and their families) but you can still have a great quality of life. And there’s a great chance that your kids skate by without getting it!
It’s 100% okay to be nervous or scared! Your emotions are totally valid. You’re just worried about the health and well-being of your kiddo and honestly yourself! It’s totally normal.
It is okay to be scared. Have you talked with your partner about your fears? That could help. Also both my parents have diabetes, my dad since he was born and my sibling and I don’t have it.
