My “team” told me this morning that we have a major deadline (or several, depending on certain factors) coming up this weekend. I checked the documents and now know they have been working on these projects for weeks. I religiously review the calendars for all our cases and had no idea this was happening. I’m putting my notice in today - I can’t produce good work product if they don’t value my time and won’t bother giving me proper notice to get the job done well.

Unsurprisingly they said and did some problematic things when I announced my departure.. Regardless, happy to be out.

Lately I’ve been feeling pay by bracket policy is very counter productive. When I came from my prev company, I had salary at the higher bracket due to market correction and novartis offer coinciding. Now after a couple of years, I see that people who were hired before or after me on a lower package have somewhat similar package as me cause of the pay brackets despite me performing better. Should I talk to my manager explaining my predicament? Or should I simply search for another job?

I hit my one year at my company on the 15th of November. I had lunch with my boss on the 10th and he mentioned a raise but not how much or when it would be effective.

Flash forward to now, we’ve had 2 paychecks since then and I haven’t received anything. He said last week he would let me know this week, but I’m getting frustrated.

He’s raising my billing rate effective Jan. 1, and I’m worried I won’t get my raise until then. Anyone have something similar happen?

Hello, everyone!

I have an interview for a relatively new law firm early next week. However, upon doing more research about them, I noticed that their website has only a black-and-white website about only what the law firm is about.

My questions are:

Is this a red flag?
How do you guys prepare for interviews specifically with law firms that have little to some information on their website and Glassdoor?

Thank you so much in advance!
