IC? I would say 450k is excellent. FAANG?

I'm confused. Are you asking if you should go in house or you already are? 450 is good for in house. I don't think too many companies outside faang are paying that (or close) unless you're pretty senior (like GC level). I've spent my career in privately held companies so I could be wrong but from the salary guides, and charter on here id say you're doing pretty well if already in house. If you're at a firm, you may need to expect a paycut
