Being female and losing weight sucks. Especially in “child bearing” years. Female hormones are miserable. Tell her to keep her chin up and focus on other things. She ran just a little faster, she lifted 5 extra pounds or added 3 reps. I also love my Fitbit for the heart rate tracker. When I dont see weight movements but I see the bpm go down one or two I know I’m doing something right.
Fitbit and MyFitnessPal food tracking and an Arboleaf scale and lots of Bootcamp for me.
If you really want to help her stop losing weight! I’m kidding but there is nothing you can do, men just lose weight faster. This literally always happens with me and my husband. He can lose 5lbs just by going to the bathroom and I want to strangle him.
It’s all about consistency and what you eat that makes the biggest difference. Unfortunately being a woman makes it so much harder to lose weight, but I found that taking out processed foods, dairy and alcohol has helped me quite a bit. I was able to lose 20 lbs in just over a month by eating 5 healthy meals a day and doing 45 min to an hour of cardio each day. It’s not fun, but your friend can certainly reach her goal if she’s consistent and committed. Good on you for supporting her!

I stopped weighing myself everyday, and weigh myself about once a month. This makes me focus more on how I’m feeling, how my clothes fit, how much more energy I have, how much more weight I add to the machines, etc. rather than on the number on the scale.
Be a team player and get fat until she starts losing weight.
Always harder for women to lose weight. Fastest way to start losing weight is to cut out sugar. If you focus on at least this one thing specifically, you will see changes.
