Hi! First time working with a larger company - suggestions on handling pronouns at work? I’ve worked with smaller agencies where it was easier to bring up. Now I’m on a larger team, talking to/referencing people I’ve never met. I’m less concerned about my own pronouns and more concerned about how to make sure I’m using the correct pronouns for the people I work with. I’ve been structuring sentences to avoid gender specific pronouns but would love to hear suggestions. Thanks!

I usually join a meeting saying "hey guys".. I've always done this.. the other day someone in the call pointed out that not everyone in the meeting were male.. I was slightly taken aback . I use the term 'guys' in a completely gender neutral sense and thought that was the norm.. am I totally in the wrong here?

My job let’s me choose between NYC and SF. I’m a young guy - from a dating perspective is one better than the other? I know people talk about the gender inequity in SF but my sense is during the pandemic a lot of guys have moved out of the Bay Area to cities like NYC, LA etc.

What’s the difference between working in industry vs PA as an internal auditor? Does industry have billable hours?

I’m curious of everyone’s views on job hopping. I’m on my 3rd job and have ~3 years of sales experience. Each job change has been an increase in comp and has shown clear career progression. At this point I’m working for a well known public company in SaaS, in their SMB segment, which has been great. But I’ve been approached by a smaller startup offering to double my base salary, 2.25x my OTE, and equity for an enterprise rep position. This is very enticing, but would I look like a job hopper?
