Can you not just apply for jobs? What “data collection”
I’m not being salty I’m literally asking what data you think needs collecting. I switched jobs for the first time with 2 YOE and spent a ton of time googling companies I was interested in and then networking as much as possible and applying.
You make a list of potential companies you are interested in and/or roles you are interested in which require your skillset. Then you start searching for roles on company websites and/or job boards + LinkedIn. Concurrently you use your network or try to network with people who may refer you to roles you are interested in. With or without referral you apply to the companies and roles then pray that a recruiter will reach out to you to screen you and put you through their recruiting process.
In some cases recruiters could just reach out to you without you having to go through all of the above, but I wouldn't count on it to guarantee you a new job. In this market you have to be proactive and persevere. Good luck. 🤞🏻
THANK YOU!!
First one is usually on your own. Once you have experience, it’s easier.
Set up ten phone calls over the next week or two to ask people about what they do. Start with your network from your firm or university alumni.
🤔Are you 25 years of experience trying to get in touch with an executive recruiting firm?🤔
If not, network for referrals/start cold applying via LinkedIn and company websites.
