I currently work in a hybrid sales/marketing role. However, I would love more experience in marketing specifically so I can move in to a marketing specific role. Does anyone have a suggestion of books or articles, podcasts, organizations to follow that will allow me to stay up to date on the latest trends but also help prepare for a marketing centric role? Thank you

Feeling pretty down and stuck in Audit, after several months of searching My market has fewer job ads and I've been unsuccessful in interviews during the late stages (companies have said I fit the job role/culture but went with someone who had more industry experiences). I don't believe I'm too picky, but I'm starting to feel I should get industry experience in a smaller company then reapply to other companies. Has anyone been in this situation? Care to share some insight/advice?
Got an offer from Amazon, amazing benefits and role, but they are only matching me on my base salary? Any negotiation tips that I can use? I really want to take the offer though.

Seeking advice. I work in fashion as a Creative Producer and I'm looking to transition to a PM or Digital Producer role with an AD agency to get more experience. I haven't been able to land a PM role because I'm lacking agency experience and no one seems to want to train a newbie. Should I take a pay cut (possibly entry level role) for an opportunity to get the digital experience I need? Would love some feedback!
Any advice on reaching out to recruiters at other firms even if there isn’t an open position available I’m interested in? Looking to stay in my current city, but trying to move to a new group and firm
Applying to MBA programs next fall with the goal of pivoting from tech finance to consulting. I’m very passionate about fitness and health and think I would love a role at a Peleton/Tonal type company as a post-consulting option or even in place of consulting. Is there a niche for ex-consultants /MBA grads in this industry. Have any current students seen OCR in this space?

How are firms handling the economic downturn in terms of billable hour requirements for associates? Are annual billable requirements being updated or mitigated in any way? Curious to see how other firms are handling this issue, and also afraid of not being able to take any time off until 2021 😳
Okay 🐠 I need your input on two scenarios I have. 1 - Join EY cloud strategy as SM working under two partners and with 2 other SMs (will be partners in the next 2-3 years) that I know well; with a fast track to partner for myself. Or 2 - Join BCG DV at EM level and work towards partner level there. Completed final interview last week and got positive feedback. I don’t think there’s a wrong answer, but I have the EY offer in hand, comp difference is negligible.
Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
Are there any Salesforce projects in China? Would love to travel to a mega city there (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, etc.) to experience the culture and apply my technical knowledge there.

Is it worth it move for like 20% increase from your traditional 9-5 corporate environment?

I’m a new associate on a transformation project and am on multiple hours of calls each day. Most of the time have no idea what’s going on and often space out or go on phone. I know that’s bad but just am drained from all the new lingo. Also I’m supposed to take notes but they’re bad notes bc I’m confused most of the time. Any advice on how to be more engaged and/or take better notes?
I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
