Bench life is driving me crazy.
Does KPMG do 4-2-2 when people are on the bench?

This one guy from slalom has done more for their brand on here than any headhunter or marketing could
Oh sorry. Was answering for D. Never heard of Slalom.
💁🏽 there are dozens of us! I like to approach slaloms brand like I approach my work... The quality speaks for itself
30% bonus at Big 4... LOL
Yes. It used to be variable pay model but we've moved from that
D1 are you with Slalom now ? Or answering for Deloitte?
Like anywhere the higher up you are the more you're expected to do firm development, but at the consultant level (most of the firm) you can be pure delivery and not have to worry about extracurriculars; even so there's little expectations of grinding through the weekend for free. However if you're good at what you do, do expect to field questions from other projects about your expertise
Ugh sign me up
Oh and the "big" 4 bonuses...sounds like 2/4/7 % this year 😫
We are fully paid even on the bench
Thank you!
Do the dozens of you have any firm initiative expectations? Or is utilization your only evaluation metric ?
@Slalom 1 - what is the average base pay and bonus for a Deloitte manager coming over? Also what is pay and raise structure year over year?
"According the my slide rule the pay from D as a Manager is..."
🤔 I have no idea, you wouldn't necessarily translate as 1:1 manager, it depends on what position you come in as so check glassdoor.com. Bonus is % of your salary but done more holistically (i.e. Subjectively and it necessarily banded)... Don't expect giant bonuses like the big4 (30%+) unless you're at the upper rungs of the org. Raised are steady but possibly meh
What is meh
If I could have/ wanted to define it don't you think I already would? It could be personally identifiable information given our low population pool. Don't expect to make 200k if you want to stick at the consultant level, which at this point you can be a consultant for forever. Like any org the higher up you go the more money you'll make
Wonder how long this Slalom model lasts. Can def see myself burning out at EY with the politics. A just lay me well to deliver gig where I can travel sounds awesome.
This slalom model has been going for twenty years with ~10%+ growth yoy (excluding new office openings) and approaching $1Billion revenue... So I don't think we are going anywhere 🤗
