Startups and Hollywood. If startup fails you can use those skills as a way to get into a big company or go get an MBA. Hollywood you can do a hell of a lot after starting at an agency nearly every executive in media started in someone's mailroom at an agency.

For everyone talking about shooting for the moon and landing among the stars, in 1685 Galileo's theory of universal paradigm proved that stars are further away from the earth than moons. The US government has been using their propaganda to oppress the scientific community through releasing such idioms in our main stream media. Let's fight the tyranny of the global adversaries and win back our freedom and shoot for the stars ✨

Consulting is better on all those measures, except the money but the OP already knew that

Rationale: Tech has no exit opps without an MBA and the only responsibility you'll get is writing code, managing people who write code, etc

HELP my friends! I’ve been invited to a recruiter screen for the initial interview with HR for Global Safety Associate. This job mainly deals with Adverse event/high prescribing meds product complaints. In my current role I deal with on boarding pt & getting patients work done from A-Z till they get on their meds. The only part which is similar is that I’m the main point of contacts for pt so I can report their complaint to Health Canada. How can I convince them I can handle this new job

I have an intro call with a VP hiring for a brand director role. What might be the most common or hardest question a VP may ask for such a role? I’ve only held senior marketing roles and am about 10 years of experience. They sought me out (probably due to my last few years at agencies) or otherwise I wouldn’t have thought I’d qualify for such a title.

My recruiter mentioned during hiring that the TVC payout will be 100% if one joins before September 30th. This was an important factor that helped me decide to join Wells Fargo.

During the induction the HR said that TVC will be pro-rated.

Anyone else had a similar conversation with the recruiter or were you all communicated that the TVC payout will be pro-rated?

I moved to an IT analytics organization from ZS Associates after working there for 4 years and have now decided to leave current organization as I don't like being a part of it. Have 2 offers : same current salary at ZS and ~20% hike in Indian telecom organization.
What should I do considering that if i move back to ZS, i won't change job for atleast 4-5 years.
Or should I join the other company and try to join ZS after some more time for C position?

What’s the best way to get an interview for a finance role in a startup coming from corporate? I have strong, progressive fp&a experience across a wide range of industries. I work for a well known, large employer in the healthcare space. The co may be considered mature, but I’m working on growth initiatives. I’ve been applying cold because my LinkedIn connections for the startups are often 3rd+. After a few weeks of trying, there are no interview requests! What am I doing wrong?

Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? I would like to return to 100% remote work and, understandably, most job postings that are about my caliber are requiring the cert. I am thinking of possibly pivoting into an IT job that would be fully remote later on down the road, but I’m interested in seeing what is possible now (and an average pay) for someone with my experience.
