What is the working model in barclays now adays

I am a military spouse/government employee with a clearance on LWOP until 2024. I would like to start gathering ideas for what to do in case I need to enroll in schools or get new certifications. I am torn between going back to my job, getting decent money but it's not something I love and the career progression will be limited. I'm a new first year associate, almost two weeks in. Have to ask: is it normal to have almost no idea what's going on? I know my teams view me as completely clueless (which is 100% accurate), but whenever I ask for an explanation/they go over something with me, I'm still left feeling like they're speaking a different language. Is it just me? Every time I do a task I get so nervous I'm screwing up big time because it's like I'm stumbling around in the dark. What can I do to improve?

Recently, I joined a service based company with 26 CTC + buyout amount on 12th oct. I am about to receive my first salary. But yesterday I received an offer from a good product based company with 27 lpa. I told the product based company that I'm an immediate joiner. But now if I leave the current organisation without a 30 day notice period they will hold the salary + buyout amount. So it means 2 months salary loss. What should I do ? Absconding or salary loss?

I have 4.2yrs of experience with 14.9ctc in same company without switch.
Now as I have taken permanent work from home due to location issue, they are reducing my package by 13%, so from next month CTC will be 13.7,
Currently I have TCS offer of 16.7CTC.
Is it worth going to TCS, as I have heard they dont give much hike, if I stay in current company in 2years I will reach the package TCS is giving me.

I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions here.
