Currently second year at large defense firm. Salary is OK but small bonus at the of the year for hours billed. Feels like I’m doing trained monkey work most days but supervising partner wants to grow a new team around me so opportunity for growth? Maybe

Was offered a position with a mid-sized firm doing complex lit and class action work. Fully remote and they’re willing to train me. Base comp is same as now but end of year bonus is cut based on firm-wide settlements.

Thoughts?

Traveled with a girl friend I’ve only been friends with for a year and she got super intoxicated and started grabbing men’s butts at a bar.
