Does Deloitte provide cab facility?
What I found with my grandparents is that costly places != enjoyment. They actually got more conscious looking at the prices and the people around. Obviously everyone is different, but that’s what I learnt. What blew their minds was spending meaningful time with me over an entire weekend
Atomix is great!
My parents love food and always complain when I take them to nice expensive restaurants (also Asian).
They’re favorite spots have been some random Chinatown spots in NYC And a seafood Buffett in Boston lol
Same here, they care more about the fact that you care than the dollar sign on the menu

Dirt Candy it's an amazing vegetable experience. Every dish is something you can't find anywhere else and the flavors are very complex and unique.
I went recently and absolutely loved Dirt Candy!
Crown Shy. Best restaurant in the city IMO

I live close to this place. Have heard it‘s good but never been, so might need some more research

Takeda. If they enjoy omakase they will love this. It’s a very quiet and romantic restaurant.
Take them to Atomix or to Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare. (Personally, I’d go with Atomix.)
Oxalis tasting menu was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Saga was pretty great. Studio Kitchen in philly. Alinea in Chicago. Minibar in DC.
Atera is phenomenal
Also Cho Dang Gol is phenomenal for Korean food, if that’s their thing
Look at Jeju Noodle Bar, Atomix, Cote, Kochi, Jungsik for Asian/Asian flavors
Other great options include Saga, Aquavit, Le Bernardin. Basically any 3 star or 2 star (except maybe EMP lol) will be an amazing meal.
Jungsik was an amazing experience
Zuma NY — their omakase was AMAZING and my parents don’t like only sushi/raw fish options and they were very happy with the omakase selection there (lots of cooked foods and entrees). Gaonnuri for penthouse kbbq.
No no gaonnuri is not worth the price

Aquavit, Le Bernadin, Jean Georges. Keep in mind that you have to book a month ahead at some of the highest-rated restaurants. Aquavit seems to be easier to get reservations.

CM1, did you go recently? I haven’t been there in years but my SO loved it.
