Has anyone successfully negotiated a title? I was looking for Senior Manager positions but applied for some Mgr positions too. I’m up for promo next year at my current job as well. The current industry offer meets my comp expectation but planning to see if they would bring me in as a senior manager. I’m a Jnr Associate, today I’ve had a Senior colleague (who was incorrect on a couple of points) say to me that I am “over thinking” and “don’t panic” — in each instance I was not over thinking or panicking. I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.

So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
