OK folks, I'm kind of pissed. I interviewed with a dream company, made it to 6 interviews (all the way up to VP). Weeks later the recruiting manager shares they went with someone internally, no feedback. Today I see the same position being promoted. Do I pursue the same role or take this as a sign that I wasnt a good fit after all and let it go?

Hello all! I am currently a P&C Client Manager for the 15th largest broker in the US. When I joined my company, I was brought on as an assistant for a former employee who taught me everything I know about my role. I came with on no prior insurance experience but caught on quick. I am about 4 years in now, on a team with newer employees, working on the same accounts plus new ones. One assistant and one Senior Client Manager. (Continued in comments)

I applied to a position about a month ago & the recruiter says that they’re going to a diff direction at that time and will reach out to me once another same position opens up again. However, I saw the same job posting just now. Does that mean I’m out of the recruiter’s vicinity? Should I even bother reaching out?

Has anyone here ever been on the receiving end of a PIP? Ie 30 day performance review? What was your experience during that window and leading up to (hopefully) quitting to take another job or getting fired? Do people just ride it out and accept their fate and interview their tails off? Would love to hear how they were treated, what mental toll it had, and how to accept you were getting fired before you got fired? And telling coworkers?

Hi all, I’m currently looking at a position in Deloitte’s Public Sector, Programme Leadership, Major Programmes Consulting practice. Is anyone able to tell me what the work is like? I’m not sure if it’ll be as advertised or if I’ll end up doing PMO work, to put it bluntly.

Deciding between 2 job offers in DC & would love some advice! Background- Masters in my field, 2.5 years of full-time experience. Job A is a large company, well-known, great benefits, consulting (no past consulting experience). Job B is small nonprofit, interned there before, would have more autonomy in role but basically no benefits package (liberal leave, no 401k match, no signing bonus). Trying to decide which is best as a career move, salary is comparable for both, TIA!!!

I was out of there so fast because of the toxic environment. Should I just forget it and do my best to finish my RN?

(Reserve) Unit Transfer Help

ETS in 6 months. Really want to re-enlist for 4 -6 years. Currently in a MOB, and got promoted out of the unit last year June to another unit, did 1-year E5 work during the mob. Finishing up MOB in Nov and got accepted into a cyber unit in which I can progress my career, and want to reenlist for 6 years.


However, the unit I got promoted to insist me to go to them and I'm ETS in 6 months.
