A healthy dose of nihilism usually helps me. Our galaxy is hurtling itself towards the next closest galaxy and when they collide both galaxies will rip into shreds destroying any scrap of evidence we may have existed. And because we will never possess the ability to travel beyond our galaxy, and we probably went extinct long before that anyways, there's no chance of anything remembering us.
^that escalated quickly
Wtf don't leave your snacks when you're not on the client for a couple weeks. That's rude af. We might be hurtling towards another galaxy, but shit have some common courtesy.
CH1 my fellow nihilist. Flawless approach to not stressing about bullshit. You're not the same girl from that thread about a small pool of guys for you to choose from are you 🤔

OH MY GOD I AM
Find self worth in being a child of God, co-heir to the Kingdom. Then what other people think will not affect you as much.
So I have to ask. Was it a bag of M&Ms, folded over and quasi sealed, or a half eaten donut? I feel silly even asking, but I could see where something like the latter would piss the client off.
Clearly this was meant to be. If you're in so cal I may actually start believing in god. Ok probably not but still.
I'm literally getting on a plane today for trip to LA/SD for SDCC?!?!?!
Find self worth and don't sweat the small stuff. Also unless someone says it to your face don't overthink little things.
I feel like this is always a tough question because the inclination is to just say something like, "don't let it bother you."
Honestly though, almost all clients complain because it's usually not their day to day job to help us, and your manager likely just wants you to learn and keep improving. That's how I rationalize it to keep it in perspective anyway.
interestingly, most of the complaints that I got from the client are just small and unimportant things. For example, one of my clients complained to my manager because I left snacks on my desk overnight. I'm not currently assigned to that client, but I will be back in a couple of weeks. They said that I shouldnt leave anything on the desk unless I'm fully assigned to the client. I totally understand if this desk is an open desk, in fact this desk is reserved for the audit team. Frankly, this kinda pisses me off, but as a staff, I have to concur regardless of my true feeling is
EY2 - It's a goldfish pack and properly sealed. not the latter for sure. I would totally understand it if the latter happens.
Just know that there are better things outside of work, such as family, friends, and alcohol.
Go into sales/recruiting. It'll build your skin up in no time. Rejection is a beautiful thing.
Whoa...shits getting real. The stars have aligned. Also, sorry to hijack this thread OP. They don't have that fancy DM technology here. Let's all grab drinks and talk this over.
