Is everyone going to office or is it still wfh?
Bain & Company Can any Bain & Company fish provide insight on Bain's expense policy? When WFH, at client site (outside of based city) and when working with local client...
It would also be helpful to provide insight on travel policy - first class in which flights, always 5-star hotels? Etc.
Thank you!
I started working for my company about 6 weeks ago and I was originally hired to work from a specific location closer to my home. I was told the 1st day of my employment that the location “is not ready yet” and that I would be working out of a temp location further from my home. It has been really inconvenient for me to say the very least and the remote option is unavailable to me until after the probation period which is 6 months. How should I approach having this conversation with my director?
Anyone else feel like the office token?

If you are travel M-Th then find a new home for the dog. It’s not a fair life for it. If it’s periodic travel then it can be done with doggy daycare or dog walkers
This was the realization that I had to face…need to put the dog first
I had to give my dog to my family once I started traveling early on 😞 no good way to do it as a consultant

I found someone on Rover that comes to my house to take my dog. They have a key and charge me by the night. A lot of times a client engagement requires I leave early in the morning (6am) or arrive late at night and doggy daycares simply aren’t an option.
Pet sitters are nice. Reliable, fun for dog, and cheap are your 3 factors, usually you can only have 2
I think at a certain point you need to rethink having a dog
Best bet is to hire someone to live at your house M-Th
Cant you drop your dog off at your parents when you go travelling?
