I had applied for two job openings in Deloitte USI for ServiceNow Developer role and they rejected the application within 4 hrs of applying stating “Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we have determined that our current position is not ideally suited to your talents, experience, and qualifications.” Can anyone shed some light on this. Are there any other eligibility criteria which I may be failing to meet? My 10th, 12th and Graduation is above 70 Deloitte Deloitte USI Deloitte India

If you don’t have an exploding offer, you don’t have leverage to ask them to make a decision soon. That said, I think it’s a good sign that they reached out to confirm interest. My boss did that before he hired me, but he only sped up when I told him I had an exploding offer. Keep looking!
They’re keeping you “warm” on purpose bc they like you. Source: I do this a lot as a hiring manager when internal things get in the way of the hiring process like reorgs, calendars not aligning for other interviewers on the panel, etc. It doesn’t mean anything that the job posting is still up.
Agree with Manager 1. Also some postings are just set up for a certain period of time and sometimes auto-repost. That part doesn’t mean anything

I feel like a man would be more aggressive in this situation and I don’t know how to be aggressive and ask for them to make a decision other than waiting
