I think I know exactly where you are. It’s too bad if I’m correct.
Mostly agree with the above. Don’t walk though. It’s hard to get a job when you don’t have one. The great thing about NY is that there are tons of jobs here. Open your LinkedIn to recruiters, start applying, and get out of that place. They didn’t move you, pay you what you asked, or uphold any of the promises they made during hiring. You don’t owe them anything.
Life is too short to be miserable.
I think it’s worth asking and if they say no, they say no. But also I think you might as well start looking elsewhere because why not?
were going to hire out the rest of the team on the account and that it wouldn’t be rocky for long. 6 months later and it’s barely better than when I started. I’ve had to be a PM, producer, creative, account person, just to name a few. I have been flirting with the idea of walking away and quitting, but someone suggested I ask for a raise. Especially since they didn’t pay to move me to NY and they cut $5k off of my asking salary. What do you guys think?
Thank you, SP1 and PM1! Sometimes you just have to check if you’re being crazy or not. ♥️
