Come from a place of concern for her. Tell her how much you care. She may be having a health or personal crisis.

This makes no sense to me as we’ve always worked together and I campaigned for her recent promotion!? Help please!

That sounds like her difficult year is being taken out on you. She is looking for someone to blame and not looking at the big picture.

Yes that’s the way I feel too and I am trying very hard not to overreact to her comments and negativity but I am also worried about her from a mental health perspective. Would you engage or leave her be to work through her own issues?

can you speak with ber

so good! most of the time approaching the issue with the other person with resolution in mind is the best. kudos to you!

She also has to take some responsibility for her own performance. Perhaps give each other some space since you may be too close to the situation right now, and revisit with her with an open heart later to see if the professional relationship needs to move on?

I struggle with the at work friendships. With direct team members there really is a fine line.

Ugh. I went on vacation last week for meeting my boyfriend’s family for the 1st time/his sister’s wedding. I’ve been trying to lose quarantine weight for the past 5 months ahead of this trip (healthier eating, working out 5-6x a day, calorie deficit). I was getting back to my old physique pre covid. But during this trip I just ate everything without thinking twice. Especially when his family would offer food cause I didn’t want to be rude. Now I feel back to square 1. Continued below..
