MBA
Switch to another company or at least threaten to
Yup MBA would be the best one. If you're at Deloitte you can try internal transfer to one of those consulting innovation centers... Gotta know partners tho
Will need biz school for a transition like that outside of your subject matter expertise
If you want to stay at D monitor or Doblin are solid jumps but requires sponsorship and breaking into the "club"
I made the comment above and wanted to add a more amenable solution - the best / only way to do it is to network your way into your desired team - I.e by getting on a project with them, getting involved in their Internal work, or getting on a project that is directly relevant to the work they do and slowly working your way in. Aggressiveness, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset towards your career is key . Leaving and going to another big4 is the more straightforward approach because you avoid red tape but I imagine that's not your goal. It is what a lot of people wind up resorting to and a big problem that at least I know PwC is very aware of and would like to prevent which is why I suggested you threaten to leave unless they make something happen for you. Ultimately you have to have a case for why/how you fit into that group if you want to be successful regardless of bypassing red tape.
Thanks PWC! ^ Appreciate the advice!
