Can anyone give insight into CBIZ MHM for audit?
This is my first time working with a client using the COSO framework. Before elevating my inquiry to my seniors, I would like to confirm my understanding of how this exercise works.
Prior working papers are telling me that client should establish its compliance with the five components of the framework, correct? How rigid should I be in performing this?
To be fair, I was provided with a reading material but it’s a pretty hefty read.
Thanks for any responses!

40-50% is too much of an increase for me not to take lol
You should absolutely jump. Unless you’re on my team.
I am going through this exact scenario now. 50% bump, fully remote but I’m going B4. I also love my current firm, but like you said, it’s too much to turn down. Make the move. I let my office partner know about the offer and he basically said there’s nothing he can do to even come close to that and I’m sure the same will be said to you. Just make sure you talk to your lead partner first before you accept it out of profession courtesy. They will appreciate getting the opportunity to talk through it with you first and it’s fair to give them that chance.

You should jump at the new opportunity!

You should jump. There’s no time like the present where salaries are continually increasing due to the high demand. If you were to wait it out you’d lose out and be on the constant climb up to a better salary. Trust me. I had to learn the hard way. I loved my old folks too but the chance to be over 6 figures was what I was always chasing
Just take it and go!
It is very kind of you to talk to your current leadership about the opportunity. If it doesn't work out, maybe they would still be open to taking you back or coming back at a different role further up the ladder. Don't burn bridges

Your firm will most likely not match. I’m assuming you’re in LCOL/MCOL and the new job is in HCOL?
Correct. Ohio is low cost of living Vs NJ (new NY) high cost of living state.
