Seeking advice: I have a Strategy Director who is a brilliant strategist but ho-hum people manager and is not advancing the dept from a business perspective (streamlining processes, balancing budget with strategic output, etc.). Their team isn’t happy so I risk skip levels leaving. They would really be better suited in an individual contributor role.
