Do you have an idea of where you want to teach (which school? which specialty? Which levels?)

The professors you spoke with — are they from the schools you're interested in teaching at? If not, I would go through the faculty list of the design departments you're interested in being a part of and ask for their advice. Even HR and the head of the department to know if you actually need a master's to be considered.

Two previous colleagues taught as an Adjunct professor at their alma maters without a Master's, a couple years out in the field.

Don't do it unless you want to sink yourself in debt. There's plenty of resources online for free or a fraction of the price or consider continuing education classes.

It’d be more beneficial getting a Master’s in something supplemental to your original studies (or career choice) than essentially majoring in the same thing. Examples: Psychology, Business, etc.

Also, my understanding for design instructors is that you don’t need a Master’s to teach. I’d personally rather learn from someone with tons of industry experience than not.

I previously worked at a small Plaintiffs law firm (pre admission). At the time of hiring and throughout my employment, I was constantly told I would get paid referral fees for all cases which I referred. I did get money for some but the partner was SO bitter that I left that he has not paid me for 5+ cases which I referred. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do? This man owes me a substantial amount of money.

Having trouble picking work to present as case studies in my portfolio.

Problem I’m having is that the company I’ve worked at has pivoted so many times, and we have yet to ship our product till later this year or so. While I can say that the designs I’ve implemented have shown to have good usability in user tests, I can’t really say it’s yielded tangible improvement for our users or product, since we have no live users atm.

Any advice on how I can best frame/pick case studies?

Hey folks, any thoughts when you finish last round of VO and haven't heard back from recruiter since then and still goes without update for more than a week (6 business days). As the HR didn't reply my email sent 4 days ago, I was wondering if I have to ask him again. This is indeed one of my most wanted job and I regarded my VO interview as a pretty successful one. Any experience when it takes a loooong time for the recruiter to get back to you after final round of interview?

Whoever said UX pays more than advertising is a bald-faced liar. The offers are 30–50% lower than an equivalent-level ad role. I paid 17 grand for UX school only to get contract offers for $55/hour. This is in NYC and for big companies.
