Hi all, I am currently on £30,000 base with one year experience. I do live outside london and WFH, but a firm approached me in london. After calculating commuting costs, it will add ~£5,000 net per year to commute into london to be in the office. Is it reasonable to ask for a base of £40,000 in london?

Hi! I just graduated college in December and have been working as analyst at a small boutique recruiting firm for less than a year. I have been with my current company for about 3 years now and currently at 75k plus employer paid benefits and decent pension plan. Due for review next month and expecting to be offered a 5k raise. I recently went through an interview process for an investment banking role at a well respected mid market bank. I had two rounds of interviews, and the second round was with two VPs. All interviews went very well - conversation was great, and I got enthusiastic verbal feedback during and at the conclusion of each interview.
