I work at a large, global software company, and am looking to make a move to a more collaborative environment with better culture. I’ve been offered a more senior position at a smaller North American company in the crypto space where I know I will learn a lot, but I’m worried it might hurt my overall career trajectory. Eventually I plan on moving internationally. When it comes to searching for a new position, does company size/reputation matter more than the experience you have at the company?

I’m currently in Underwriting but I’m thinking of switching over to the corporate risk management side. Is this something I should do? Any advice would be welcome.

I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

I have worked in the Instrumentation & Controls field for many years. Although the money is good I wanted to transition into something a bit more technical. I graduated last year with a Masters degree in Software Development from Boston University. This is a totally new transition for me in the work force however wanted to utilize my graduate degree.
