Need advice on mgt comp. I work for 25-yo company, $200m gross rev. I started in 2013 & on mgt team with 3 others. Ok salary & car. No bonus or equity. In ‘08 they created deferred comp plan for 8 employees not on mgt team ($50k/yr, 10-yr annuity at 65). They refuse to add others, saying it was mistake. I work hard but no upside. I want to stay (primary breadwinner). Need suggestions for how to break thru the log jam. Thx!

As follow-up to post, I am only woman on mgt team in male dominated industry. Those on deferred comp plan are men. In 2020 I suggested equal pay problems but they didn’t budge. 2 newer members of mgt team are not on plan. 1 is son & gets equity. Other member doesn’t like conflict.

Does this sound fair based on my 4 years experience in the field or am I underselling myself?

I've become disillusioned with the partnership track career path fairly quickly and don't think it's for me. (2) Would it make it more difficult to go back to private practice if I don't like that experience?

I’ve been interviewing at numerous places in-house but the process has been very slow. I have an offer from a small law shop which aligns with everything I want but comp is low end of in-house (and not on the radar for law firms at all). If I make it to last round in-house interviews, what are the chances I’ll get the offer? Also, how can I ask the law firm to wait to see how the in-house interviews pan out? Or do I tell the in-house companies I have an offer already? Thanks.
