Need advice on what is appropriate to bring up to my manager. My project is wrapping up soon. The last month or so I have felt incredibly burnt out and depressed. I’m not sure if it’s been (contd)

Way overthinking this. At the same time, dont trust anyone to have your best interests at heart, regardless of how you performed..now get in the gym and focus on your health, you first work second

I made a huge mistake and shared many personal things with my manager in confidence that friendship and work talk were seperate from one another. The day it was used against me and throw in my face is the day Iearned to never do it again. With that said, it's great to develop and trusting and open relationship with your manager but remember that this is still the person that decides your career growth. My advice is to ride it out and once it's done to use that success in your favor to get what you want. It's better to see something until the end rather than giving the perception that you're not capable of or just don't want to do it. Unless you are truly unhappy. Choose your words. Perception is everything.

Noticeable in my work quality or output, but I have a feeling it might be. Year end career reviews are approaching soon and I’m not sure if I should ride this project out on what are probably “fine” terms or bring up how I’ve been feeling and as a result underperforming to my manager (who is likely to be delivering my career review). I don’t want him to think that I can’t “handle” the job but I also don’t want him to think that I am generally just an “okay” performer. I did really well the first 3 months but I’m afraid this last month will erase all the hard work I’ve done

Am I overthinking this?

Client has indicated on several occasions that he’d like me to join their team (not being specific about role or level). I would make the move in a heartbeat if it was a step up in responsibility, but I’m not interested in making a lateral move. What should I do to move this process forward without seeming over eager or potentially damaging the client-consultant relationship if the offer isn’t compelling?

I’m on a really difficult project. The other consultants on my team say it’s the most difficult they’ve had in their careers. I’m a new hire and I’m confident that none of my peers have any idea what I’m going through. It’s been really tough. I’m a really strong person but I can’t help but feel unmotivated and defeated. Feeling worn out already.
