Have an exit opportunity to Capital One for a Technical Product Manager role in their data team, wondering how would a career in Capital One compare to that of Accenture and staying in the race to Manager? Compensation increase is £10k more than the C1 base
Does anyone know anything about working for a high net worth family in an HR role? Specifically working for Excellence Services LLC. I’m a bit intrigued and hoping to get some insight. Thanks in advance!
Is there a difference between 250k salary and 400k salary? Both salaries are watching spiderman on opening night. Both salaries have food on the table and a roof over their heads. One has a 65in tv vs the other has 75in. One drives a BMW the other a Tesla. I make around 250k and to increase my salary I will have to work a lot more. Is it really worth having more money, at some point it is just a number and quality of life doesn't improve. In fact it could be worse with the extra hours.
Should I put a three week notice in rather than the normal two week notice during busy season? I assume they would keep me on my jobs until my last day. I have never felt more certain about a decision than leaving this current role.
Hi All, Just wanted your views on following I accepted an offer from company A and they given me an expected role and compensation. As I am serving notice so getting lots of calls and counter offers from other companies, should I go for them or stick to company A? If you are in my place what will be your step?
What are good consulting exit opportunities in India within Pharma post consulting? - for a person with 13 years of overall experience of which 8 years is in management consulting. Saw a lot of marketing roles at pharma companies and was wondering if these are good. Expectation is to have a better work life balance but also a bit challenging role.
Anyone have any advice on how to break into customer success? I've been a BDR for over 2 years now, and I've learned a lot from that role. My next step I feel is a CSM or CSA. I am more of a farmer than a hunter and I'm very customer-centric. I find my strengths are in CS but it seems like you need experience within CS to break into CS. Any tips or referrals? Thanks!
I want to hear everyone's honest opinions on unlimited PTO policies. Call me old-fashioned, but I miss having an allotted number of days we were allowed to use annually. Seems like there are no companies following that model anymore. Unlimited PTO messes with my head and for some reason I get more paranoid about what people are thinking if I do.
Does a senior VP in a relatively "no-name" company (like Johnson and Johnson) make more than an entry level Program Manager in Google?
Looking to apply to an account manager role for digital advertising sales. I feel like it’s a role I could really succeed in just based on my interpersonal and portfolio/project management skills. I’ve been at deloitte for a little over a year now and looking to transition into a role like this. Can someone maybe give me some advice on how I could pursue this role at google/how realistic it is? Or potentially provide a referral if anyone wanted to connect/see a resume?
Any advice for someone with 5YOE in strategy consulting with finance background wanting to switch into PMM? PMM role interests me, but since I don’t work in tech space currently, I’m wondering where to start or if I could even switch over without taking a more junior role/a pay cut
Does anybody know someone hiring for equity research associates? Looking to exit into sell-side research.
Why are you still in Pharma when Tech is much more exciting/better paying/more opportunities to be in as a sector? And please don’t give me helping the patient bs.. I am considering moving to tech in an BI/PM role even if it’s a bit of a lesser role. Thoughts?
Commonwealth Bank Australia (CBA) - is offering me a position of Engineer solution for 6.7 years Experience. Is this acceptable? Does this even matter?
I'm looking for a innovation role....pls help
Advisory The great resignation period is getting over. Due to global macro economic conditions, we’re under recession, inflation is all time high. many companies are starting hiring freeze(some even starring soft layoffs) , be extra careful when planning to join some startups, may not be a great time. How’re hiring in your organisation?
I am proposing to leadership that our open requisitions have fully vaccinated requirements for all roles, so that we are hiring vaccinated people into the firm. Is this fair or would it affect talent acquisition negatively?

Where is a new build???
When you have an aching feeling that you could be doing more to get ahead in your career but are burnout at the same time #deepthoughtintheshower
Twice on this project I've said "happy Friday" on Thursday morning client calls. Call me stupid, but the joy of flying home legit makes me feel like the weekend is dawning.
Everyday I get squashed in meetings as a female minority analyst. I didn’t believe in sexism until I entered the workforce.
Female minority here: my coach simply didn’t put me up for promotion even tho I had a business case, am deserving, smart, and shattered sales goals at the M level. I should easily be a SM at my firm but my coach claims he’s too busy and hasn’t pushed for it. Would you go to HR or is this like treason/backstabbing? How will it be perceived and don’t want it to backfire but god damn it I deserve to be promoted with all the male shitheads I am hearing were. Any advice is appreciated.
I hate ellipsis. "Do you have any.......info on this? In other words......this kind of thing. I will probably need this tomorrow.........thank you very much!"
It's slides you love most they love to hate 😟
Been at this company less than a year and my mental and physical health have taken a hit, I hate the culture, have no interest in the group they put me in, it's just not a good fit. I cry every night
The best feeling in the world is getting a client email over break and ignoring it. Not during Christmas, bitch.
Got rolled off my project for refusing to edit previous/not book actual hours... suggestions?
