Anyone joined EY GDS from Deloitte USI? How is your exp at EY GDS so far?
I know Deloitte USI set very high expectations but is EY GDS good in terms of job security, salary, bonus and increments, work culture and learning growth?

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. I just realized I’ll likely have a MAGI of over $124,000 this year and will have to reduce the amount I contribute to my Roth IRA. I don’t know exactly by how much and I’ve already contributed about $1,900 directly through my Roth IRA. Does anyone know if I can still do a backdoor Roth IRA for the remainder of the $6,000? Is there any way to avoid over-contributing to my Roth IRA by the amount I already put in there?

Would love to hear arguments in favor contributing to 529 vs putting the same amount in an index find such as VIT.
I have a kid who is 10. I used to contribute to Vanguard 529 and have around 15k. Recently, stopped contributing and instead started buying index fund every month. My argument is that if I move to another country, I don’t want my money to be locked in a 529 account. Instead i have more control on my money in index fund and such.

Currently I have 11LPA fixed, but now I got a offer of 20LPA fixed but here the variable is fixed for 10-20% max but at EY GDS it can extend till 40% so is it good to consider the new company or stay in old company for 14 to 15LPA ?

Its been more than a week since there is no response from HR side/GDS team.

Does this mean that they did not consider me? Because I believe that HR asking for docs is a clear indication that I cleared my interviews.
